Tomorrow, at 2AM, daylight savings time occurs and we “Spring Forward.”
Parents oftentimes ask me how they should adjust their child’s sleep schedule.
Here is my reply:
Because bedtime relies on parental timing of active/quiet time, bathing, and dinner (and these parental cues are adjusted to the new clock time), then we can disregard the change in clock time.
If 6:30 PM is the right bedtime for your child today, then 6:30 PM is the right bedtime for your child tomorrow too.
Have a great rest of your weekend!
For the families in our practice, your Sleep Apps should automatically adjust 🙂
